Dr. Kenneth Carey is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon with extensive training in Facial Trauma, Reconstructive Surgery, and surgical and non-surgical cosmetic therapies.A native of Idaho, Dr. Carey received a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Idaho State University. He then completed training at Oregon Health and Science University obtaining his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry.
While there he received numerous scholarships and was awarded the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Student Award for outstanding achievement in undergraduate Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Carey continued his training through the United States Army where he was commissioned as an Officer and completed his residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg North Carolina. While there, he received extensive training in Facial Trauma and Reconstruction and served as Chief Resident. While there, he also became board-certified through the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the highest qualification an OMS can receive. He also served as Program Director of the Residency Training Program and as the Unit Anesthesia and Sedation Officer.
Dr. Carey is an active Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons as well as a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a member of the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology, Nebraska Oral Surgery Association, American Dental Society, and Nebraska Dental Association.
Dr. Carey currently resides in Kearney, Nebraska where he is in private practice. He holds hospital privileges at Kearney Regional Medical Center and Grand Island Regional Medical Center. When asked about his greatest blessings in life he will tell you that it is his 4 amazing children Maddie, Katie, Cole, and Logan. He enjoys riding motorcycles and hunting elk. He considers himself a patriot having served in the military. He also feels it a blessing to live in a country where rights are guaranteed by a sacred Constitution and that each of us has a duty to uphold that Constitution.
Mallory was born and raised in central Nebraska and loves her home state.
In 2015 she married the love of her life, Max, and together they have two amazing little boys.
Mallory graduated from Nursing school in 2009 and began a career in Oncology before making the transition to a traveling nurse. In 2014, Mallory moved back to Kearney to start a new job as an outpatient RN. That year she passed the board certification for Vascular Access with an expertise in Ultrasound Guided Peripheral IVs, Midlines and PICC lines. Serving as a Vascular Access nurse is a meticulous job which showcases her attention to detail and exceptional care.
Her education and training has opened many doors and has given Mallory the experience needed to make the leap into Aesthetics. Mallory has devoted enormous amounts of time attending specialized aesthetic training courses ranging from dermal filler injections to laser treatments for spider veins, acne, laser hair removal and facial rejuvenation to name a few. We are so happy to have her as part of the team.
In her spare time you can find Mallory and her family spending time on their boat fishing or playing with her 2 Great Danes. She likes to crotchet, design/print for custom t-shirts, cups, signs, etc. Simply put, she’s great at everything she does!
